After doing an elective rotation in Birmingham she decided her future was in the UK. After graduating in July 2021 she worked in a GP practice in Spain while she completed her GMC registration.

In December 2021 she moved to the UK and started a Max-Fax SHO post in Oxford, where she attained her Foundation Competencies. Currently she is working as a Junior Doctor in Obs & Gynae in Salisbury and she has already lined up an Obs & Gynae post in the Wessex Deanery.

Outside of medicine Samanta is an animal lover and she loves to travel. She has a special love for teaching and has taught french, her mother tongue, for many years.
