Paula grew up in Seville, Spain where she completed her University studies in Medicine. She graduated in 2020 and moved to the UK where she did a clinical observership in the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford.

She then obtained a job as an ENT SHO in Basingstoke where she completed her Foundation Competencies. Having also worked as a General Medicine SHO in Basingstoke she then obtained an SHO post in Paediatrics at the Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester. She is currently completing a Masters in Medical Education with the Warwick University.

In her free time, Paula enjoys travelling, hiking, music (especially Flamenco) and playing the guitar.
