About Guillermo

Guillermo has completed more than seven years of training in the UK. Currently he works as a Infectious Diseases ST5 in London. He has a special interest in Tropical Medicine and HIV.

He has collaborated as a Public Health researcher with the Oxford University in the field of global antibiotic quality and its impact in the growing problem of antibiotic resistance.

He studied medicine in Spain and in 2014 he joined the Idiwaka association to volunteer in Cameroon. In 2015 he was invited to visit the HIV unit of the Pennsylvania Teaching Hospital, USA.

During his time in the UK he has worked in Southampton (Foundation Training), Portsmouth (Core Medical Training, RCP College Tutor and member of the Regional Sepsis Comitee), Birmingham (Infectious Diseases training) and London (Infectious Diseases training).

Guillermo is a conscious dreamer who enjoys playing the guitar and travelling around the world.
